At Home Calorie Torch Workout

Happy Fit Friday, babes! This week flew by for me and I am not complaining…it’s time to relax and enjoy the weekend! I’m getting better about not working AS much on the weekend. I’m trying to find a good balance and I think it’s going well.

Anyway, I have another AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) workout for y’all today. The only equipment you’ll need is a jump rope. If you don’t have a jump rope you can just substitute it with high knees in place…get that heart rate up (: Oh, and you’ll need a timer.

I love AMRAPs because I’m competitive. I love racing against the clock to see how many rounds I can squeeze in during the allotted time. Sometimes I’ll go back and do the workout again the next week to see if I can beat how many rounds I did the first time.

At Home Calorie Torch

For this one, you’re going to set your timer for 30 minutes and let it run non-stop to 0. Starting with the 200 jump ropes (or high knees) and working your way down the list to the 30 squats, you are going to complete as many rounds as you can before the timer runs out. Take breaks when you need to…listen to your body.

    Well, I did your first intro video to Hit gym last night and tonight did this work out 2 times through in 15 min. The only thing i modified is the Burpee thing as i am not sure what it is, but i did what I think is a burpee and I can’t walk now. So for the new year and my second time working out in 4 months I think i did ok. Heart rate up and sweating like crazy. This is an awesome work out and when i get paid this week I hope to at least get a 1 month subscription to the online gym to give it the full go at it. My current goal is to try 30-45 min of work out in my home 3-4 times a week. i have them in my planner the time I will do this, so it should happen. I started clean eating and eating a whole food diet 11/2 years ago and the pounds are still up and down. I was running consistently (poorly but running) but twisted my ankle and have been benched until now. New year new mama! I’m organized and so happy to have found a way to do this from my home with out a tread mill or equipment. Speaking of which can you please list out the top 10 items of equipment that you will use in the videos please so i can look into getting them. (Great blog post) Along with where you get your awesome workout cloths! They look so awesome, i know i would stick with it better if i am equipped properly! Sorry for rambling, I am so excited to see what 2015 brings with the new gym and how i can use it as a tool to get more fit and loose some weight!
