Pumpkin Protein Iced Coffee Recipe

So here’s my logic on this one: pumpkin + coffee + protein = you can’t really lose now can you? I’m the typical fall-loving girl…pumpkin everything, fall-scented candles, leggings as pants, you know, the usual. But I have to do a lot of improvising since it’s hot in Florida still. Enter: the Pumpkin Protein Iced Coffee.

I’m kind of repulsed by what’s in Starbucks’ PSL so I decided to make my own version:

Pumpkin Protein Iced Coffee

What You’ll Need:

  • Cup of coffee
  • Scoop of vanilla protein (I used this one)
  • 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (I used vanilla)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • Handful of ice
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon & pumpkin pie spice

What To Do:

Blend everything together! BAM…easy. Then top with more cinnamon & pumpkin pie spice if you’d like. And obviously you should drink it out of a mason jar and an orange straw, because who doesn’t like to be festive?

Enjoy!
xo, Jess

    Hi Jess,

I work out 5 times a week, combination of running and weight training and I do not take protein supplement after working out. I use to drink protein, however I stopped about a year ago because I didn’t know if I was drinking the correct kind (and it can be pretty expensive for such uncertainty!). Do you recommend Optimum Nutrition? I am not looking to loose weight rather just building lean muscle. Thanks!!
