Good morning (: I wanted to pop in and share a pancake recipe that I shared on Instagram yesterday! It’s a low(er) carb protein pancake recipe that is HEAVEN in your mouth!
What You’ll Need:
- 1/2 scoop of protein (I used this non-flavored one).
- 1/2 serving of Kodiak Cakes Power Cake Mix (this stuff is life)
- 70 grams of egg whites
- 1/8-1/4 cup (depending on how thick you want the batter) of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- Dash of baking powder
- Dash (or for me a mound, lol) of cinnamon
What You’ll Do:
Mix everything together in a measuring cup. Set your stove to medium heat. Spray a pan with non stick spray and pour the batter slowly into the pan (you can make the cakes as big or as small as you want). When you see bubbles forming on the edges of the cakes flip them and let cook for 1-2 minutes. Put on your plate and add your toppings! I did a little bit of PB and some Walden Farms syrup…so delicious!
Now the real question – #teampancakes or #teamwaffles? I think it depends on the day for me (;
