It’s still November so I’m still pumpkin obsessed! I hope you are, too…because I have a pumpkin recipe for you today (:
A little secret – I don’t LOVE veggies (besides asparagus, of course). But I LOVE fruit. And I LOVE smoothies. So a good way for me to get my daily veggies is in smoothie form, because I can hardly taste the veggies but instead I taste the sweet fruit!
I have a lot of pumpkin left in my kitchen so I wanted to find different ways to use some of it up – and this smoothie was born.
What You’ll Need:
- 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/8 cup of cinnamon
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein
- 2 handfuls of spinach
- A little bit of ice
Blend everything together and enjoy! If you’d like the smoothie a little sweeter, I suggest adding honey. Oh and a little tip: drink this smoothie right after you make it – if it sits out and gets warm it’s not very good! But if you drink it cold it’s delish!
