HAPPY APRIL! This is such an exciting month around here! My husband and I celebrate our 1 year anniversary annnnnd my e-book will be coming out (fingers crossed) later this month!
So if you’re anything like me you love chocolate. And coffee. Making this smoothie right up your alley (: I’ve been drinking this post-workout and it hits the spot! I posted a picture of it on Insta last week and a few people asked for the recipe so here it is!
What You’ll Need:
- 1 cup of coffee (chilled…I put mine in the freezer for about an hour before making the smoothie)
- 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cacao powder
- 1/4 cup vanilla almond milk
What You’ll Do:
Blend it all together and enjoy (: I use a Vitamix and I love it!
This smoothie is great for post-exercise, because it is loaded with protein and healthy carbs. Plus hello it tastes like chocolate coffee #winning.
