Please tell me I’m not the only one who has to sing Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl” song to spell out the word bananas? ANYWAY. Moving on to bigger and better things. Like having dessert for breakfast. That’s right. I had a banana split for breakfast last week. Not a TRUE banana split, obviously, but a healthy version!
I was in the mood for something sweet. My veggie scramble just wasn’t cutting it that day. So I had 2 eggs plus this:
I promise it tastes as delicious as it looks. And the best part? It is SO EASY to make.
What You Need:
- 1 banana
- 2 tablespoons of 0% fat vanilla greek yogurt
- 2 strawberries
- Sprinkle of cacao chips
BOOM that’s it. You don’t even have to spend the extra 3 minutes making it look all pretty. If you’re one for just tossing everything in a bowl and calling it good, then you do you! Either way, it’s a fabulous breakfast filled with lots of good things to get your body fueled for the day.
After all…breakfast IS the most important meal of the day, am I right? (Yes, the answer is yes.)
