Okay so maybe that’s not exactly how the saying goes, but I’m telling y’all, this shot is going to do you all kinds of good. I take a shot of this concoction every single morning right when I wake up. Before breakfast or coffee. And I chase it (because trust me, you will need to chase it) with a cup of water.
I’ve been drinking apple cider vinegar for about a year, and I took a 2 month break from it awhile ago and MAN I felt a difference.
I make a batch of this every week and take a shot every morning. I keep it in a mason jar and shake it up each time before taking it. That little shot you see in the picture below, is the exact amount that I drink everyday.
Let me tell you what’s in it before I tell you why you should drink it:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup organic, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (with the ‘Mother’)
- 1/4 cup organic honey
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
This drink smells awful. And it tastes pretty bad, too. So why would you want to drink it then? Allow me to explain…one of my best friends told me about this drink and all its benefits. After reading about the benefits, there was no way I was gonna pass this up.

*Make sure you buy raw, organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar. I’ve found that the best brand is Bragg!
