Okay so hate may be a strong word. But let’s just say I don’t particularly enjoy running like I do lifting or HIIT workouts. So then I’m asked this question, “Well then why do you do it?” To be honest, a mile or so run is what I’ve found to be the best warm-up for my body. It doesn’t take terribly long, and it just gets my heart going. I feel ready to take on a full workout after a short run…so I do it to prepare myself to do what I actually enjoy (aka the lifting and HIIT workouts).
One thing that makes running a little bit more bearable for me is this:

It’s fun to strap this on and try to beat my previous run. It keeps things interesting – it makes me feel like I’m running for a purpose. I like seeing what I’ve completed!
The watch is super lightweight and easy to navigate (good thing, because I am so not tech savvy when it comes to gadgets).
