5 Tips for Staying on Track During the Holiday Season

Did y’all have fun celebrating Halloween?! I can’t believe that it’s November already – where has this year gone? When I was a kid I remember a year seeming SO long and now they seriously fly by!

When I think November…I think the start of the holiday season. Which I LOVE. November & December are all about spending time with your loved ones and making new memories while partaking in old traditions. I’m so excited that this is my first holiday season as a wife…Adam & I are gonna start some of our own traditions!

The one downfall of the holiday season – a lot of people tend to fall off track when it comes to their health and fitness.

Stop Giving Up

Living a healthy life is just that – a lifestyle. It’s not something that you turn off during the holiday season. You can’t put your health & fitness on hold for 2-3 months and expect your results to be good ones. So I thought of 5 tips to help you keep your health & fitness on track during these next few months!

5 Tips for Staying on Track During the Holiday Season

1. Schedule your workouts.

Yep, treat your workouts like an appointment. Write them in your planner, schedule them in your iCal…whatever you gotta do…do it. You’re less likely to skip your workout if you treat it as a planned part of your day.

2. Bring healthy dishes to holiday parties.

And healthy does not have to mean bland. Bring a veggie tray or festive salad. Or try chili or raw energy bites!

3. Keep snacks in your bag while you’re holiday shopping.

I don’t know about you, but my hunger rages when I’ve spent hours shopping for the perfect gifts. Instead of swinging through a drive thru, have some snacks in your car or bag…ready to combat those hunger pains. Think almonds, pistachios, or a banana with nut butter.

4. Eat a little bit at home before you go to holiday parties.

I never go to holiday parties (or any parties, really) completely hungry. I try to eat a small, healthy snack so that I don’t hang around at the snack table that’s usually filled with chips, dips, and desserts.

5. Join HIIT Fusion Online Gym.

Don’t have time to get to a gym with all the holiday craziness? No worries – you can join HIIT Fusion Online Gym starting November 28! All of the workouts are short, effective, and can be done at home. Plus it’s only $12.99 a month!

Glad you like the tips, girl 🙂 I’m spending all my free time working on the launch of the Online Gym so there won’t be a calendar this month – but there will be a weekly workout schedule for online gym members! Thanks for the support!
