Strong & Sexy Summer Body Workout

Hey Glisten Girls (:

I hope y’all had a fabulous week! I want to talk about a certain word today – sexy. I feel like this word gets kind of a bad rap from women – like it has a certain stigma attached to it. Probably because when you think “sexy” you think Victoria Secret model and then you become all self-conscious and don’t feel like you’re sexy yourself. WELL LISTEN UP.

Sexy doesn’t just mean thin, tall, and blonde. Sexy means whatever you want it to mean. I’m sure you’ve heard the common fitness phrase, “Strong is the new sexy.” Well yeah, that’s true to some, but it doesn’t have to be for all. Some women want to be tall and thin to feel sexy, while others (like myself) want to be fit and strong to feel sexy. There’s nothing wrong with either!

“Sexy” is like beauty to me – it’s in the eye of the beholder. There isn’t just ONE version of it. We are all sexy/beautiful in our own way.
