Happy FIT FRIDAY (: Sorry that I missed last week…my bridal shower was last weekend so I was a bit tied up! It was a blast by the way! My Matron of Honor is fabulous and threw me the best party. I can’t believe the wedding is in 28 days…WHAT?! Let’s not talk about the length of my to-do list okay?
Anyway…I post workout challenges on Instagram 4-5 days per week. I usually try to ask of suggestions so that I can produce what you guys want to see! Someone suggested a “BUNS & GUNS” workout…um score. I love the idea! So today I give you…
For this workout all you need is a set of 10 pound dumbbells. And you don’t need a lot of space either…you’re welcome! Who wants to strengthen those booties and arms?!
I want you to complete 4 sets of the following:
Donkey kick to tricep push-up x12 (per side) – Keep your elbows tucked close to your side and make sure your chest goes all the way down to the ground during the push-up.
Clean to press x12 (per side) – Be sure to keep the dumbbell close to your body the entire time to keep from getting injured. This move is one fluid motion.
Curtsey lunge with a curl x12 (per side) – Curl as you do the curtsey lunge. I like to alternate sides and just do 24 straight for 1 set.
Squat to curl to press x12 – Keep your weight in the back of your heels and you’ll really feel the burn in that booty. Make sure that your knees don’t go past your toes.
How do you guys feel about the picture printable? I still need some practice perfecting the look of them but you get the idea. More useful than the videos?
This weekend is my bachelorette party…eeeek! I don’t know exactly what we have planned (it’s a surprise) but I am so excited! I hope y’all have something fun planned for this weekend. Why not start it off with this Buns & Guns workout?!
