Hey babes, Happy New Year’s Eve…I can’t believe that it’s almost 2014! I’m really excited for this year: I’m getting married and starting to do more with Glisten. Bring it on 2014! I decided that I wanted to do a monthly calendar for us Glisten girls. They focus on being fierce, fabulous, and of course, fit! I assigned a challenge for each day of the month, some fitness related and some not. I think it’s really important that people understand that health & fitness isn’t just about working out. I think it’s about maintaining a balanced and well-rounded lifestyle. It’s a journey! Being fit isn’t something that happens and then BAM you’re done. We have to work at it every single day. For the rest of our lives. It’s about your attitude, how you look and feel, how you treat others, what you do in your spare time…all of it impacts your fitness journey. So I give you the January calendar, titled, #jigglefreeJANUARY:
Print it out and post it on your bulletin board, fridge, or if you’re type A like me, in your planner. I’m really excited about these fun challenges and plan on completing them with y’all! If you do decide to do any (or all) of the challenges, post a picture on Instagram and use the hashtags: #jigglefreeJANUARY and #glistenfit so that I can check in with you…eeek! So fun. If you have any questions about any of the challenges, feel free to ask away.
Starting January 6, I’ll be posting 3 times a week on the Glisten blog, oh my gosh, finally. Mmm Mondays will be food related posts, Talk It Out Tuesdays will be for health & fitness tips and questions (if you have any, send them my way), and on Fit Fridays there will be some sort of workout posted on the blog for y’all…FOR FREE! I want to do everything that I can to make you a happier, healthier, fitter YOU in 2014.
