Why Monday Deserves Love, Too!

Happy Monday, y’all!

So a lot of people are under the impression that the words “happy” and “Monday” don’t go together. WELL I beg to differ, my friends. I think that if you dread Mondays then you have some reevaluating to do.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE me some good relaxing weekend time, but Monday can (and should be) appreciated, too!

Monday Love

A fresh slate.

I’m so all about starting the week off with the “fresh slate” mentality. No matter how crazy/intense the previous week was, I feel like come Monday morning, you have the chance to set the tone for a brand new week.

Time to get stuff done.

I like to see Mondays as mini-New Year’s. You can set new goals and be extremely productive since you’ve had the weekend to recoup. Setting new goals each week is SO important. It keeps the weeks from getting mundane and it gives you something to be passionate about/work toward.

Mondays make you appreciate the weekends!

DUH! If every day was the weekend you wouldn’t really get to appreciate the beauty of the weekend now would you? (; Plus if it wasn’t for Mondays we would never get stuff done!

So I challenge you to go into today with a POSITIVE, love Monday attitude (: It will probably make your day (and other people’s day) MUCh better!

xo, Jess

Ah yes! Monday’s being a restart is a great way to think about it! I am also all about knowing that Monday’s and bad days help us see weekends and good days! Besides who says you can’t have a good day on a Monday !

What kind of goals do you set each week?

I feel like the way I spend my Sundays have a direct impact on my Monday! I love these concrete reminders on why I need to set myself up for success! I particularly love how you draw a line between mondays and mini New Years!

    I also love you !
