I see these “motivational” pictures all the time…they say things like “Do it for the ‘Wow you got hot!'” or “Do it because they said you couldn’t.” Well you want to know what I think? Of course you do, that’s why you’re here right? (; I think you should do it FOR YOU. Sounds simple enough right?
I really believe that the true key to becoming fit & healthy is doing it because you want to. Because you want to feel better. You want to look better. Because you want a better life with more energy and happiness.
People can want these things for you. Sure. But nothing is going to stick and truly cause lasting change until you want them for yourself. Not only want them but go after them. You’re in charge of what you eat, of what you do in your spare time, whether you choose to workout and be active or not. YOU ARE. Not “they” like those motivational quotes sometimes refer to.
So that means you have to step up to the plate. You have to take control. You have to make it happen. How bad do you want it? I promise that if you put in the effort and dedication results will come. But only if YOU want them.
So here’s to working hard and making fit & healthy happen!
