Free Yourself From Guilt

Happy Monday, y’all (: How was your weekend? Fun and active I’m hoping! Drew & I got to spend some time on the beach Sunday filming some brand new SPRING BREAK workouts for our HIIT FUSION crew. We even got to bring our other halves and make a day of it – gotta love Florida winters!

Oh and guess what? We’re releasing a FREE full workout video so that y’all can see what kind of workouts you’ll get every week if you join HIIT FUSION online gym! It’ll be on the blog in March, so get ready!

It’s Motivational Monday in the Fabulous February Series, so today I’m talking about: GUILT.

Free Yourself From Guilt
This is a HUGE deal…especially for women. If we skip a workout or eat a donut we can be overcome with this overbearing sense of guilt. We beat ourselves up for the rest of the day and sometimes for the rest of the week.

Here’s my stance on this: Guilt has NO PLACE in your health & fitness journey.

Guilt is unproductive. It causes you to sulk and focus on the negative.

What do I do/suggest that you do if you wander off your health & fitness path a little bit?

Get back on track. Period. Realize that what you ate/skipping that workout is not getting you closer to your goals. Acknowledge it. Accept it. AND MOVE ON. Don’t dwell – instead focus that energy on making moves that are going to bring you closer to where you want to be.

If you plan a treat meal – enjoy it, girl! You’ve planned it, worked your butt off, and it’s OKAY to indulge every once in awhile.

If your friends plan a spur of the moment trip and you have to miss a workout or two…it’s OKAY to live life.

That’s the beauty of this whole health & fitness journey thing – you work hard day in and day out. You are committed. You’ve created a lifestyle. Your goals are always in the forefront of your mind. So when things do come up, you don’t have to bear that guilt, because you know you’ll be right back on track afterwards.

Remember loves: You are strong. You are beautiful. You are enough. Free yourself from guilt.
