Easy Hair Bump Tutorial Without a Bump-It or TeasingPosted on January 27, 2014 at 12:05 am
Hey babes! Happy Monday (: I usually share a food related post on Monday, but I’ve had SO many of y’all request a hair tutorial after seeing these pictures on Instagram:
PLEASE hear me out when I say that I am so not good at doing hair or makeup. I promise. I don’t know how to French braid or use a curling iron. YEAH. I just got lucky and stumbled on making this hairstyle happen one day…the hair gods were looking out for me that day I guess (;
Anytime I wear this hairstyle anywhere, someone comes up and says something to me. They’re usually either asking A. how I did it or B. if I’m wearing a Bump-It. The answer to B. NO. I wouldn’t know how to use a Bump-It if my life depended on it. And another thing…I don’t really know how to tease hair either so this style doesn’t require that.
This is probably my favorite hair style to do because:
- It’s SO easy and takes less than 5 minutes.
- It makes me feel put together.
- I can sleep on it and hardly have to touch it up the next morning.
- And most importantly, it makes me feel closer to my Texan blog bestie, Meg. The bigger the hair the closer to….Texas? (;
And here’s your video “tutorial” (I use that term loosely…it’s really THAT easy):
See…EASY! Make sure to use #glistenfit on Instagram so I can see your beautiful hair bump pictures! Oh yeah. You’re probably wondering why I decided to name this hair style “The Dino-Do.” WELL. My brother calls me a dinosaur EVERY time he sees me with this hair style…I kinda think he nailed it:
Oh and today is when I announce the winner for my birthday giveaway! The winner of a $50 gift card to use to buy Victoria Secret Sport gear isssss:
Congrats (: There were over 2,000 (closer to 3,000) entries! Blew me away! Thanks for the birthday love everyone. I’m hoping to do another giveaway soon.
